Monopoly is a board game that teaches you how to be rich by trading money, property, houses and hotels. From playing this game, I learn about the subject of math, taxes, bank, money property, rent and mortgage.

I like this game because you can buy houses and hotels and when you land on Chance you have the opportunity to make more money.

I don't like it when I land on the Go to Jail because you have to pay $50 just to get out.

I can use the knowledge as a citizen of the Philippines when I grow older. I now know that I can use the bank's money to buy or mortgage properties to become richer. But I have to be careful because the game also taught me that I can go bankrupt! I have almost gone bankrupt from buying too many properties at once. I'm so glad it is just play money and not real life.

It also taught me to compute 10% interest on mortgage payments. The picture on the left shows me computing this on paper. Taxes are also part of life that you cannot and must not avoid which I also learnt from reading my text book One Country, One People.

It is possible to play Monopoly in real life, but slower. In Monopoly you make money from getting rent payments. In real life you can do that too and I want to use my family as an example now that I understand better. My parents rent out a 1 bedroom apartment, a service utility car, and services like consulting, writing online, digital design and printing.

When I grow up I too want to play Monopoly in real life by creating art studios for rent.

Lahat tayo ay may tungkulin
Pero hindi natin mapaninindigan kung wala tayong gagawin.
Mga magulang natin sati'y may karapatang mag-aruga
Upang tayo'y maging mabubuting bata.

We read Cashflow Quadrant at night. It's a book written by best-selling author named Robert Kiyosaki - a Japanese-American. He doesn't speak Japanese.  He explains his story about him being successful and financially free. He also teaches about the four quadrants. E is for employee,S is for self employed, B is for business owner and I is for investor. Most people work in the E quadrant which means employee.

The picture on the left shows the board game called Cash flow 101. It is a game about money invented by Robert and his wife, Kim Kiyosaki. Also we already finished his other book named Rich dad Poor dad. When I grow up I want to be an artist and have my first manga and I also like Mr. Mark Crilley my big brother like him too, Mark is really good at drawing you can watch his how to draw videos at youtube.

My mother was an employee but she moved
to the next level. She became self-employed and a small business owner.  I want to be at the S and B quadrant because Robert said self-employed is risky. That's why I want to be a business owner too. I like listening to my mother when she reads the Cashflow Quadrant book at night because we learn by just listening, and it's like listening to Robert talk. Here is an illustration of the Quadrant and the book. I already played the online version of Cashflow 101 and got out of the Rat race. It's fun because I can play with my brother and mother. Try it out !

This is the book we are always reading at night and that one on the left is the diagram of Cashflow Quadrant. Each quadrant has unique attitudes and skills set of a person. People belong to one or two quadrant. Some belong to all four quadrants. I prefer to be in the S and B quadrant when I am older.
